BOARD MEETING RECAP
Key highlights from our September 2025 Board of Trustees meeting:
- Midway earns an “A”: The district scored a 90 in the 2025 Accountability Ratings, with a 97% college/career readiness rate and a 99.7% graduation rate. Every campus maintained or improved in Student Achievement — proving Midway is among the best in Texas.
- Vape detectors: Since installation, vaping incidents dropped to fewer than 38 in the 2024-25 fall semester — and numbers continue to fall. Midway schools are safer and healthier because of it.
- Recognitions: We celebrated the achievements of outstanding students and staff who make our district proud.

- Parent Academic Dashboard: Midway ISD provides parents with access to required curriculum, instruction, and academic information through the MISD Parent Academic Dashboard.

BOND 2025: EVERY STUDENT. EVERY CAMPUS.
The Midway ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved calling an $83.5 million bond election with no tax rate increase to be held Nov. 4. The proposal focuses on facilities, technology, and student spaces while maintaining a zero-cent tax rate increase. Watch the Bond Video to learn more or visit www.midwayisdbond.org.
