A Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Midway ISD will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, beginning at 7:00 PM in the Board Room of the Midway ISD Administration Building.

REMINDER: Midway ISD campuses and offices will be closed the week of March 4-8 for Spring Break.

Have you seen our AWARD-WINNING Goal Tenders perform lately? On Tues, Feb 22 these talented Midway HS dancers will host a "CONTEST SHOW-OFF" for everyone to see the dances that have earned them many trophies this contest season. We hope to see you at the MHS Arena @ 6:00 pm!

After months of hard work, auditions, and rehearsals, TODAY is the day when the BEST musicians from across the state of Texas will join together in performing at the TMEA 2024 Annual Conference. Midway is proud to have 12 amazing students represented as members of these most elite bands, choirs, and orchestras. REMINDER: There will be no school for students from Friday, Feb. 16 - Tuesday, Feb. 20. Classes will resume at their regular times on Wednesday, Feb. 21.

It is EXTREMELY competitive to be selected for a Region Jazz Band. River Valley MS not only had 6 qualifying students, but 3 of them are named for 1st chair!

The staff and student holiday originally scheduled for April 15 has been moved to April 8.

Congrats to the 11 orchestra participants in the UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest on Jan 27th, especially to the 6 State Qualifiers!

Midway ISD commissioned a financial efficiency audit according to HB3(2019) to review district data on accountability, students, staffing and finances, along with with peer districts and state comparisons.
