Year in Review 2025-2026

It is time to brag on the incredible Midway Fine Arts students & staff for their numerous accomplishments during the 2025-2026 school year...and what a year it was! Not only did every department reach new heights, but several under new leadership continuing our district's strong Fine Arts legacy. MISD Fine Arts came together once again outdoing themselves with the musical production of "Anastasia", blowing away audiences back in January. Throughout the year both middle school and high school fine arts students flourished around the state and even across the nation as the MHS Choirs performed in New York City and MHS Bands at Disneyworld! Finally, as the perfect cherry on top, the MHS Art Department had record breaking gold medalists at STATE VASE and the MHS Theatre One Act Play not only made it to STATE for the first time since 1963, but placed 3rd in all of Texas! WHAT A YEAR, INDEED!
