Though we will have much more to tell you about each of these fabulously talented musicians in the days to come, we simply could not wait to announce that Midway HS has nine TMEA All-State members who will be performing in various ensembles at the annual 2026 TMEA Convention in February. An enormous CONGRATULATIONS to each of these wonderful and hard-working students on achieving such a high honor this year!

It's hard to imagine being selected for an All-State ensemble for 3 straight years in a row, but what if you did it on 3 different instruments as well? Think it is impossible? Think again! Senior Emmanuel Maxey has accomplished this monumental goal and we could not be more proud of him!
