After a memorable performance at the UIL State Track and Field Championships held last week in Austin, Midway High School senior Reeve Tarter is set to leave a lasting legacy as he prepares to graduate next Friday.

Midway High School Tennis wrapped up an outstanding season this year at the UIL State Tennis Tournament in San Antonio, competing among the top teams in Texas. 

Midway High School Powerlifting proves that there is strength in numbers. The team made an impressive showing at the state championships this year with athletes from both the girls and boys teams advancing to compete at the highest level in Texas.

Midway High School senior swimmer Carson Blair made waves this year in his final high school swim season, competing at the UIL State Swim Meet and earning recognition as one of the top high school swimmers in Texas while breaking several school records—including his own—in the process.

In a night full of friendly competition, athletes showcasing their skills, and enthusiastic support from Panther Nation, Midway High School kicked off the 2022-2023 basketball season with their first Hoopfest celebration.

Midway High School was represented by two runners at the 6A UIL State Cross Country Meet .

Head Coach Troy Simonek and the Midway High School Tennis team won their 21st consecutive District Championship this fall.

Dr. Emily Neubert and Annie Rhodes were inducted into the Midway High School Athletics Hall of Fame last week during an on-field ceremony and plaque presentation before Friday night’s varsity football game at Panther Stadium.
