Beginning August 3, 2026, Midway ISD Food Service Department will begin distributing letters to the households of the children in the district about eligibility benefits and any actions households need to take to apply for these benefits. Applications also are available online at School Lunch App (nlappscloud.com).

The Midway ISD Board of Trustees during its regular April board meeting approved the hiring of new principals for both Midway Middle School and River Valley Middle School, along with new district administration.

The district hosted a Principal Profile Input Event March 6, inviting parents and staff to share their thoughts on the qualities they hope to see in the next leader of River Valley Middle School.
