Midway High School senior Sakina Qureshi has created a one-of-a-kind ornament to represent Texas House District 56 on the 2025 Texas Capitol Christmas Tree.

Sixteen musicians from Midway High School’s Band, Choir, and Orchestra programs have received the highest honor for music students in Texas.

Five River Valley Middle School students were selected for the 2025 American Choral Directors Association National Honor Choirs. 

The Midway High School Wind Ensemble and a Midway soloist received national recognition in the 2024 Mark of Excellence Awards, presented by The Foundation for Music Education.

Midway High School had 43 students selected for the All-Region Choir, 33 of whom are advancing to the Pre-Area round of the All-State process

Musicians in Midway High School’s choir and orchestra programs have been selected as Outstanding Performers at the 2024 UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition.
