Midway High School senior Jack Sterrett competed in the 6A UIL State Cross Country Meet held earlier this month in Round Rock. 

Midway advances to the area playoff round.

Ryan Harlan, Cokie Reed, and Bill Farmer were inducted into the Midway High School Athletics Hall of Fame last week during an on-field ceremony and plaque presentation before Friday night’s varsity football game at Panther Stadium.

At the recent school board meeting in June, Athletics Director Brad Shelton highlighted the positive impact of extracurricular activities on student performance and community engagement and presented the following high school athletic achievements for the 2022-23 school year.
