Midway High School is proud to announce that all three students previously recognized as National Merit Semifinalists have officially advanced to National Merit Finalist status.

Midway Robotics delivered a historic performance Saturday at the Waco League Championships at Baylor University, earning the league’s highest honor and advancing multiple teams to championship-level competition.

Midway ISD students are showing measurable academic growth at the middle of the 2025–2026 school year, with a majority of students in grades 6–9 performing above the national average in reading and steady gains recorded across elementary reading and math.

Six Midway ISD campuses and the district as a whole have been named to the 2025 Texas Honor Roll by Educational Results Partnership (ERP) – a distinction earned by only 15 percent of Texas schools and 84 districts statewide.
