Board of Trustees Appoints Jordan Barry to Vacant Place 1 Seat
“I’m truly humbled to be chosen to serve,” Barry said. “I love this community, and I’m excited for the opportunity to champion what matters most—our students and our district’s future.”

Barry brings more than 15 years of financial and community leadership to the board. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for American Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Baylor University in 2007.
Barry and his wife, Sarah, have three children enrolled in Midway ISD schools. The family are active members of First Baptist Woodway.
His wife has served the Midway Independent School District for 17 years. Jordan currently serves as President of the Midway Education Foundation and Treasurer for Heart of Texas Builders Association. He also recently chaired the 2025 Facility Study Committee.
“We are grateful for Jordan’s dedication to our schools and community,” said Superintendent Dr. Chris Allen. “His experience, service mindset, and deep Midway roots will be a tremendous asset as we continue leading the way for students, staff, and families.”
Barry will serve the remainder of the unexpired term until the next regular election cycle.
