The first day of school may still be several weeks away, but preparation for the 2026-27 school year is already underway across Midway ISD.
To help families prepare for the start of school, Midway ISD is launching Ready. Set. Enroll., a districtwide back-to-school campaign designed to provide families with timely information, important reminders and helpful resources throughout the summer.
The campaign centers around the district's new Back-to-School Hub at MidwayISD.org/backtoschool, where families can find registration information, school supply lists, transportation details, calendars, frequently asked questions and other important resources in one convenient location.
Online registration for returning students opens Wednesday, July 8, and district leaders encourage families to complete registration as early as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
Throughout July and early August, families can expect regular updates through ParentSquare, social media and the district website covering topics such as registration, transportation, school supplies, Meet the Teacher events, campus preparations and first-day reminders.
"Our goal is to make back-to-school preparation as simple as possible," said Emily Parks, Director of Communications. "Whether your family is returning to Midway or joining us for the first time, Ready. Set. Enroll. is designed to help every family feel informed, prepared and excited for the first day of school."
The first day of school for Midway ISD students is Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Families are encouraged to visit MidwayISD.org/backtoschool throughout the summer for the latest information and updates.
