Midway ISD is once again proving why it stands apart, with the latest data showing students outperforming the state, region, and peer districts across every major academic measure.
The district’s 2024–25 Annual Report, presented in March, highlights strong performance across academics, college readiness, and financial accountability—reinforcing Midway’s position as a top-performing school district in Texas.
Students across Midway ISD exceeded state and regional averages in all STAAR-tested subjects, while also outperforming comparable districts in College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) and Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA). These results reflect a district-wide focus on student growth and preparing graduates for success beyond high school.
That success is translating into real outcomes. Of the district’s 689 graduates, 455 enrolled in college, and more than half of those students earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher—demonstrating both access to and success in postsecondary education.
Midway also maintained its “A – Superior Achievement” accountability rating, continuing a consistent track record of high performance and academic excellence. The district continues to focus on moving more students into advanced performance levels while ensuring every student shows meaningful growth.
Financially, Midway remains equally strong. The district reported less than a 3% variance between financial reporting systems, reflecting disciplined oversight and responsible management of taxpayer dollars.
The Annual Report serves as the district’s official summary of the school year, compiling academic performance, financial data, safety information, and progress toward board-adopted goals into one comprehensive report required by the state.
