District-Wide Efficiency Audit Report Released

Midway ISD commissioned a financial efficiency audit according to House Bill 3 (2019) to review district data on accountability, students, staffing, and finances, including comparisons with peer districts and state data. Legislation requires the board of trustees of a district to conduct an efficiency audit before seeking voter approval for the adoption of a tax rate for the maintenance and operations (M&O) of the district.
