At the May 20 meeting of the Midway ISD Board of Trustees, returning trustee Pam Watts (Place V) officially took the Oath of Office following the May 3 election. Because all candidates were unopposed, the election was canceled in accordance with state law. Trustees Jonathan Green (Place VI) and Rick Tullis (Place VII) were not present at the meeting.
Following the swearing-in, the Board conducted its annual reorganization of leadership. Trustees nominated and voted on the roles of Board President, Vice President, and Secretary in accordance with district policy and state requirements.
The board maintained its current leadership structure:
- President: Pete Rusek
- Vice President: Susan Vick
Secretary: Pam Watts
