During the August meeting of the Midway ISD Board of Trustees, staff and campuses were honored for their exceptional achievements and meaningful contributions that have positively impacted the district and its community.
Recognitions included:
ERP Honor Roll
Midway ISD and three of its campuses—Spring Valley Elementary, South Bosque Elementary, and Chapel Park Elementary—have been named to the Educational Results Partnership’s (ERP) 2024 Honor Roll list of top-performing schools in Texas.
Midway ISD is one of only 63 districts statewide and one of 3 in McLennan County to earn a spot on the ERP District Honor Roll—placing the district in the top 9% of all eligible school districts in Texas.
This year, three Midway ISD elementary campuses—Spring Valley Elementary, South Bosque Elementary, and Chapel Park Elementary—were among 762 campuses statewide recognized by the Educational Results Partnership’s 2024 Texas Honor Roll. That places each campus in the top 12% of all eligible Texas public schools.
Within McLennan County, 12 schools earned the distinction in 2024—meaning Midway ISD’s three campuses represent 25% of the county’s honored schools.
The ERP Honor Roll is the only school recognition program in Texas based solely on objective student achievement data. Schools are selected based on their performance on STAAR Reading Language Arts and Math assessments from 2020 to 2024 and recognized for closing achievement gaps and improving outcomes for historically underserved student populations.

Midway ISD schools continue to be recognized as top schools in Waco through the 2025 Waco Tribune-Herald Heart of Texas Readers’ Choice Awards.
