Midway High School senior and AP Art student Alexa Miars was chosen from students across the region to have her artwork displayed in the Education Service Center Region 12 building.

Once again, Midway ISD is among the Best Communities in the nation for music education. For the 14th year in a row, the district’s commitment to music education is being recognized by the NAMM Foundation as part of the Best Communities for Music Education award program.

Midway High School art student Anna Seago competed in this year’s annual TAEA Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) and was awarded a medal at the state level.

This year, three Midway High School Orchestra students earned the prestigious honor of being named Texas All-State Musicians, which is the highest honor a Texas music student can receive.
