MABC Scholarship

These scholarships are one-time grants, designed to assist students pursuing further education. The scholarships are intended to recognize outstanding graduating athletes at Midway High School. Student athletes who intend to compete as NCAA sanctioned athletes should consult their institutions to determine if they are eligible to accept this scholarship. In many cases, collegiate athletes are not allowed to accept an athletic booster club scholarship.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their success, perseverance, dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, and academic achievement. To be considered for a scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:

1. Athletic Participation. Applicant must be a 12th grade student at Midway High School in good standing who has participated on a varsity athletic team.

2. Academic Achievement. Student must have a minimum cumulative current high school grade point average of 80 or above.

3. Booster Club Membership. Student’s parent/guardian must be a current member of a Midway Athletic Booster Club.

4. Higher Education. Student must plan to enroll in an institution of higher learning within eight months of graduation from Midway High School. Such institutions include not only colleges and universities, but also technical and vocational schools and institutes.

5. Application Form. Student must complete and submit application on the prescribed form including all requirements on the checklist. Applications must be turned into the Athletic Office in MAC prior to deadline.
