Teacher Resource Fund

Teacher Resource Fund

The Teacher Resource Fund, made possible by Bob and Nicole Woodard is rooted in the belief that supporting teachers is a collective effort that "it takes a village" to ensure students succeed. Inspired by Nicole Woodard's time in the elementary classroom and continued through her daughter's work as an educator, this fund is designed to encourage creativity in identifying and securing the resources teachers need to meet their goals. When teachers have access to the right tools, all parts of the classroom work together more effectively, students, instruction, and environment, forming a true collective focused on success. This fund reflects the idea of a Creative Collective: Teachers bringing insight into what they need, and the community coming alongside them to help make it possible. Unlike the Foundation's traditional grant programs, which focus on innovative & pilot initiatives as well as larger instructional projects, the Teacher Resource Fund is intentionally centered on practical, teacher-identified needs that directly enhance daily instruction and student learning. Its purpose is simple: To empower teachers to "use their resources" by helping provide access to the tools, materials, and supports that may not fit within traditional grant structures but make a meaningful difference in the classroom every day. Beginning in 2026, this fund will support elementary teacher(s) on each campus annually, ensuring that creativity and collaboration continue to work together in service of student success.
