Swim

Midway High School is the only school in McLennan County – public or private – with a full boys and girls swim team. Established in the 1989, Varsity and JV teams compete in UIL 6A with a strong history of district titles and regional competitors. MHS has had 8 state competitors, 2 state champions, and 10 collegiate swimmers.

Swimming has the longest UIL season, running from the first day of school in August through the end of February. The swim team practices at the Waco Family YMCA.
