Dr. Chris Allen

Superintendent of Schools

Welcome to our school district!

As the superintendent, it is my pleasure to serve the students, families, and staff of this community. Our district is committed to providing a high-quality education to all of our students, and we believe that this begins with strong leadership and a supportive learning environment.

Every child has the potential to achieve great things, and it is my goal to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students will thrive. We have a talented and dedicated team of teachers and staff who are committed to helping our students reach their full potential.

I encourage you to get involved in your child's education and to stay informed about what is happening in our schools. Our news site, Panther Nation News, is a great resource for staying up-to-date on district news and events, and we also have a strong presence on social media. You can also subscribe to our Panther Nation group to receive regular updates about what is happening in our district.

Thank you for entrusting your child's education to us. It is an honor to serve this community and I am excited to work with all of you to create a bright future for our students.

Sincerely,
Chris Allen, Ed.D.

Superintendent Goals

Our first priority is to ensure the academic success of every student in Midway ISD. We will focus on ensuring academic growth for all students. Our emphasis will be on expecting all students to demonstrate appropriately rigorous and challenging levels of thinking.

We are committed to the holistic development of every student by ensuring they feel safe emotionally and physically, demonstrate positive character and behaviors, and are inspired to use their varied gifts to their fullest potential.

Effective management of our district's financial resources is essential to our success. We will maintain the district's financial health while accomplishing our goals, ensuring that every dollar is allocated wisely to support the needs of our students and staff.

Our facilities provide a safe and conducive learning environment. We will develop a comprehensive plan to assess and address immediate, intermediate, and long-term needs of our facilities.

Our teaching staff is the heart of our district. To recruit and retain the very best educators possible, we will offer highly competitive salaries, create a positive work environment, and provide meaningful learning opportunities for our staff.
