The National School Lunch and Breakfast Program at Midway ISD is planned and managed by Aramark. We take pride in providing Midway students with well-balanced, nutritious meals.
In compliance with the National School Lunch Program, applications for free and reduced-priced meals are available in the front office of each school or online. Please follow the application directions carefully so your application can be processed quickly. If you have more than one child attending MISD schools, combine their names on one application form.
While no application or eligibility determination is required for your student to receive free meals this school year, income eligibility requirements will likely resume in the 2022-2023 school year. As such, Midway ISD will process household applications during School Year 2021-2022 to ensure student eligibility for free or reduced-price meals during the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year while 2022-2023 applications are being processed.
Forgot to apply? It's never too late!
Students can pay for their meals using cash or by deducting it from their food service account. To deposit funds into a child’s account, send cash or a check made out to Midway ISD. For an instant deposit, you may also use the new Internet program, MySchoolBucks, to directly deposit funds into your child’s account from your credit card. All funds remaining in your child’s food service account can be refunded. Requests for refunds or requests to place restrictions on your child’s account can be sent via email to the Food Service Secretary, Janet Gourley.Whether planning a simple breakfast, a plated dinner, or anything in between, you will find all of our most popular menu selections online in our easy-to-use catering system. Our District Chef can also custom design a menu for any special occasion if requested. We pride ourselves in our ability to meet any need with style and creativity, assuring the success of your event. View catering page.
