Dance

Midway ISD is in the process of growing the dance opportunities for 6th-12th grade students! Offering dance electives at MHS, RVMS and MMS students have the opportunity to explore varying movement styles while also learning the history of a variety of dance styles. Midway High School also has two extracurricular dance teams that are auditioned programs. The Goal Tenders are a world class precision dance/drill team that perform at Midway athletic events and many community events.  The Goal Tenders also compete at dance competitions throughout the spring season. Panther Pom Squad is a sideline-based dance spirit program whose focus is on more pom and jazz styles. Each spring, all students in a Midway ISD dance program participate in the spring show "Gotta Dance."
