    Employee Prekindergarten

    Midway ISD offers PreK to qualifying students at every elementary campus. The district will allow employee PreK students that don't qualify under state requirements two spots per PreK classroom. The cost for employee PreK is $400 a month for 10 months, payroll-deducted September 2021 through June 2022 (total cost $4,000). Panther Kids tuition is included in the PreK fee but is a completely separate registration.

    How to Apply for a Spot

    • FILL OUT THIS FORM. You can request your first and second choice campus for limited Employee PreK spots. Your child's placement will be considered based on a student's home campus and the timestamp of this completed form.

     

    • An email will be sent via SchoolMessenger to all MISD staff on Friday, Mar. 5 at 6:30 a.m. The email contains a link where you can request your first and second choice campus for limited Employee PreK spots. Your child's placement will be considered based on a student's home campus and the timestamp of this completed form.

     

    • The form you will complete is a Google Form, so it should work from any kind of device/computer/phone with internet access. It is recommended that you make sure you are logged in to your Midway account, but other Google accounts *should* work as well. The full URL to the form that can be copy-pasted in your browser is

    • The form will timestamp your submission. Why does this matter? There are only 2 spots per PreK classroom designated for staff members who do not otherwise qualify under state qualifications. If you are eligible for state-funded PreK, you should still complete the Google form, just be sure to mark that you may qualify for state funding. 

     

    Then What Happens?

    Once we receive your information, you will be sent enrollment forms from Missy Sulak (Melissa.Sulak@midwayisd.org) that must be completed by Thursday, March 25, 2021. Campus assignments will be determined once forms are completed and turned in. PreK & Kindergarten Round-up is to be determined. Troubleshooting: If you have problems accessing the form on Friday morning, first try the options for accessing it as listed above (login to Midway Google account, use the email link, or link from Employee Parents tab), then if none of that works, call Traci Marlin at 254-640-3659.
