Welcome to Second Grade!

Hi! My name is Carolyn Stephens. I am so excited to be your teacher this year. We are going to have a fun year full of new adventures and learning. I can’t wait to explore with you!

I was born and raised in Waco, Texas. I graduated from China Spring High School in 2010 and from Tarleton State University in 2014. This will be my 4th year to teach 2nd grade, but my 1st year here at Castleman Creek!

I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews. My family is very important to me. I spend most of my free time volunteering as a mentor, or hanging out with friends and family. I also enjoy reading, doing crafts, and watching Netflix.

Most of all, I am excited to have the opportunity to teach and learn with you this year! This year our goal is to expand our knowledge and to create a responsible and respectful community within our classroom. Are you ready?!
