Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Allison Dungan and I am excited to spend this school year with your child! I have been teaching Kindergarten for 11 years and this is my sixth year at Hewitt Elementary.
I am a graduate of Baylor University and have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Pre-K through 8th grade; English as a Second Language, and Gifted and Talented. I also have a Master's of Education in Counseling from Tarleton State University.
I am originally from Tyler, Texas but have lived in Waco for 16 years. I am married to Kirk and we have a 3 year old little girl named Emmalyn. We also have two labrador retrievers, Jake and Dixie. We love being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. I also love spending time with my family, cooking, and reading.
