Hello Midway Middle School!
This is your Principal, Dr. Herb Cox, writing to remind you about our Schedule Pick Up Day this Thursday Aug. 16th from 8:00am to 3:30pm at the Middle School.
We would like for all students to enter from the parking lot on the south side, entering the Commons from the PAC walkway.
Students, you must have a Legal Guardian accompany you on Thursday, and please also bring proof of residency. All 7th graders will need to bring $5 to purchase their student planners for the year.
If you are planning on playing football this year for the Panthers, you will want to report between Noon and 3:30pm. The football coaches will be here to fit you for helmets and shoulder pads, as well as issue your athletic lockers. They will also pick up any physical forms that have not been turned in yet. Parents, there will be some additional paperwork for you to fill out for your athletes as well. B & B Sporting Goods will be on hand in our gym selling football cleats and any other equipment you may need.
Just a quick reminder that all students will need to be in dress code on Thursday so that we can take your school pictures for the yearbook, as well as your photo ID for your ID badge.
All textbooks will be distributed on Thursday as well.
I will look forward to seeing everyone this Thursday, Aug. 16th at Midway Middle School to pick up your schedules. That evening from 6:00-7:00pm, we would like to invite all of our incoming 7th graders and their parents to attend Panther Palooza. Parents, you will be meeting with me in the PAC while your students are given tours of Midway Middle School by our Student Council members, PALs, and MMS Cheerleaders for 2012-2013.
