2011 Midway Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees
Midway Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Ann & Richard (Rock) Schiltz and Casey Fossum were presented at a ceremony at Panther Stadium prior to the homecoming football game vs Austin Bowie on September 23, 2011.
 | Ann and Richard Schiltz were honored as Special Friends of Midway ISD Athletics for their years of volunteer service in support of the Midway soccer program as well as other sports programs in the district. |
 | Casey Fossum, a 1996 Midway graduate, was a MHS baseball standout and then continued his career at Texas A&M University and in the major leagues with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Detroit Tigers and the New York Mets. |
