Mission
Athletics is an integral part of the educational process of the Midway Independent School District. The athletic program will be committed to integrity, honesty, fairness, equality and the competitive spirit. Participation will be the cornerstone for athletes as they achieve their greatest potential in the classroom, field of play and community. Each student’s athletic growth and achievement will contribute to the “Portrait of a Midway Graduate” and will produce role models who will be a source of pride for the Midway Independent School District and the community.
Vision
The Midway Independent School District Athletic Department will be an exemplary athletic community, dedicated to the highest standards of quality at all levels and in all areas of endeavor. The athletics staff, in partnership with parents and community, will be committed to providing students with a well-rounded athletic and educational experience. This goal will be accomplished within the framework of a richly diverse community in an ever-changing environment.
