Panther Kids is an after-school childcare program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The program begins when school is dismissed and runs until
Panther Kids enrollment is limited at each campus according to the capacity of the campus to accommodate students without using classroom space.
Children who have been previously enrolled in the program receive priority enrollment for subsequent years. Openings in each campus program are filled by a lottery drawing held at the campus each May.
Each campus site is staffed with two adult workers on duty at all times. Panther Kids assistants are high school and/or college workers who serve as group leaders at a ratio of one leader to twelve PK students.
