Welcome to Castleman Creek Elementary School. My name is Debbie Thompson and I will be in the clinic caring for your children. I have been a nurse for the past 28 years. I am a 1980 graduate of Midway High School and I graduated from the McLennan Community College Vocational Nursing Program in 1983.
I am married and have 4 children. I have 3 sons and 1 daughter. My 3 sons have already graduated
from Midway High School and my daughter is a Junior this year. Some of my favorite things (besides Midway High School girl's basketball and track) are Mexican food, Italian food and shopping! We have an English Bulldog, a Golden Retriever and a Chocolate Lab so I love our dogs:) I also enjoy cruising to the Carribean and scuba diving. I have been to Jamaica16 times and just love the ocean. There is something so relaxing about the beach.
We have an exciting year ahead and I look forward to meeting you and your children. I am excited to see our returning children again. Please take time to look over the clinic website. I have provided many answers to frequent questions, as well as forms that can be printed and taken to your child's physician. This year we have an updated form for scheduled medications, over the counter medications and medications to be kept in the clinic over 10 days. Please review this form on the district's main website. You will click on the parent link then scroll to nurse/medical then click on documents.Should you have any questions or issues that you would like to discuss about your child, please feel free to e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at: 254-761-5755 ext. 6649. Fax number is: 254-761-5759. .
