Welcome to Castleman Creek Elementary School. My name is Debbie Griffith and I will be in the clinic caring for your children. I have been a nurse for the past 33 years. I am a 1980 graduate of Midway High School and I graduated from the McLennan Community College Vocational Nursing Program in 1983.
I am married to First Sergeant Griffith who is an Instructor at Midway High School. I have 4 children- 3 sons and 1 daughter. All 4 of my children have graduated from Midway. Some of my favorite things are Mexican food, Italian food, travel, shopping and our dogs! We have quite a few dogs and several are rescue dogs- so I am quite busy :) I also enjoy scuba diving and cruising to Mexico, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. I have been to Jamaica17 times and have been on 18 cruises. There is something so relaxing about the ocean and the beach. My husband and I have recently purchased a travel trailer and are spending time at the lake with friends!
( It is the next best thing when we can't get to the beach!)
We have an exciting year ahead and I look forward to meeting you and your children. I am excited to see our returning children again. Please take time to look over the clinic website. I have provided many answers to frequent questions, as well as forms that can be printed and taken to your child's physician. This year we have an updated form for scheduled medications, over the counter medications and medications to be kept in the clinic over 10 days. We also have a new form for food allergies and for anaphylaxis. Please review this form on the district's main website. You will click on the parent link then scroll to nurse/medical then click on documents.Should you have any questions or issues that you would like to discuss about your child, please feel free to e-mail me at: email@example.com or call me at: 254-761-5755 ext. 6649.
