While we don't believe that reading solves all problems, we do believe that books can play a part in coping with events in our lives.  Sometimes it helps to be able to connect to a character who may be going through the same things that we are.  Sometimes you just want to know you are not alone.  Click here to be taken to a site full of books categorized by subjects that can be touchy at times.

The following is a list materials that parents and guardians may find useful in the midst of every-day situations that may occur.  These books deal with all issues, from discipline to bullying.  Parents may use their Spring Valley student's library account to check out these books.
