The Administrative Services Department works to provide the safest, healthiest and most supportive environment for Midway ISD students. In addition to handling discipline issues and residency verification, we are proud to launch the Student Safety & Wellness Center on-line for parents and students. The first topic we have addressed is anti-bullying, and we are hard at work developing resources to combat other issues impeding student success.
Midway ISD is proactive in providing safe and secure facilities. District and campus representatives are currently training for emergency situations through the national Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) program through a Region XII grant. Midway ISD will be among the top .5% of schools in the nation to receive funding for the Response Net emergency planning system, which connects our security plans with first responders.
