  • Configuring Horizon View Virtual Desktop

    Midway ISD allows its employees and students to access a virtual desktop from any location. This virtual desktop is exactly like a normal PC found on a Midway campus. You can access your network drives through the virtual desktop. This tutorial will guide you on installing the VMWare Horizon View client on your home computers or mobile device. These clients will work on Windows, Mac OS X, iOS and Android devices.

  • Moving Files From Your Computer to Your Network Staff Folder (Z-Drive)

    Sometimes staff will save files locally to their computer. Files saved on the desktop, in Documents, Music, etc. are all located on the C: drive, which is located on the computer itself. This is a bad practice. Staff members should always save their files to their network staff folder, commonly referred to as the Z-drive. If you have files located on your C: drive, the following provides a tutorial on how to move files to your network staff folder.
